Securex Limited aim to provide all of our clients with the option to receive all support services they require from one innovative and effective supplier.


Securex Limited promotes training and development and emphasises the value of active customer service as a vital tool to both gain competitive advantage and exceed client expectations.

Securex Limited was formed in february 1999 by it's director Garry Wardell. The company provides a wide range of services from car park patrols to personal security. Since its formation it has gained steady growth and has provided services for customers at many venues around the UK.

Securex employs skilled staff with many years' experience of security management dealing with both public and trade exhibitions as well as concerts.

From July 2017 Securex Limited holds SIA approved contractor status for the provision of Door Supervision Services.

The management have experience in high profile events including the G8 Summit, Eurovision Song Contest, The Lions Convention and Motor Shows, ensures personal expertise in assisting you with your security requirements, whilst operating to your budgetary needs. We provide a consultation service or a comprehensive management package which can include the provision of staff throughout the UK who are trained and experienced within the exhibition and event industry.


A Personal Profile of Garry Wardell - Securex Director

Garry Wardell gained his experience in the security industry from his years of employment with the NEC group. Garry commenced with them as a casual security officer and from there he progressed through the ranks. His final post with the national exhibitions centre was as exhibition and event security manager.

There were many high profile world events which he was involved in for example: - The G8 summit, The Eurovision song contest, numerous Motors shows and the International Lions convention.

His responsibilities at a senior level included management of supervisors, staff, administration, recruitment  and training.

Having gained experience of handling single let or multi-let situations and large scale events such as motor shows he decided to work for himself providing an alternative security service for the exhibition and event industry.


Garry was also employed by LOCOG in 2012 as the Olympic Park security manager for Perimeter & Patrols, his responsibilities included Waterways, Vulnerable points, Hostile Vehicle Mitigation and 24hr Security of the Olympic Park.

Securex Team

Staff are recruited through the local job centre, advertisements in the local press and though recommendations. They are interviewed and vetted on the requirements of British Standards 7858 & 7960.

In addition to the SIA licences staff complete in-house training to assist them in their understanding and completion of their duties whilst working with Securex Limited.

Further training is provided by means of work experience and working alongside the more regular and most experienced staff.

Appraisals of staff and regular training updates are continually being assessed to ensure quality of service.
